Moving Forward

I would like to reflect over the last 2 years as my Presidential term ends. I am most proud of the fact that we made great strides in increasing participation in chapter activities. Our chapter is alive and vibrant as chapter members get involved. I hope the trend continues going forward.

I am also excited in the passing of the new fish code regulation for the 2014-2015 fishing season. Pat Bergamo was instrumental in leading the effort which resulted in a Year Round Catch And Release, Artificial lures, and Flies Only section of the Flatbrook starting from Schaeffer’s bridge to Roy Bridge.

The Sparta Glenn project is an exciting project that Chapter members will be involved in. We will enhance a native brook trout stream while preventing/minimizing high water event damage.

I am delighted that our Chapter partnered with Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing. We have the opportunity to give back to those who sacrificed their lives so we can enjoy our Freedom.

Our Chapter is in good hands as we move forward into the future. Our Executive Board has an agenda that will bring new opportunities to get involved.

Finally, I would like to thank all of you for making my term memorable. It was a pleasure serving as your President.

Thanks
Bob Jacinto
