Fly Tying Round Table

On the second Wednesday of every month, Chapter members get together at 6:30 p.m. at the Mohican Outdoor Center, located at 50 Camp Road in Blairstown, New Jersey for the purpose of tying flies. We usually tie flies for any one of our upcoming fishing adventures or tie to replace those flies we lost on the last fishing adventure. Sometimes we tie flies for our Chapter Fly Box, sometimes we tie flies for a donation to Casting for Recovery, or Project Healing Waters, or another good cause.

The Fly Tying Round Table is a very informal event. We bring our fly tying vices, materials and an adult beverage. We usually finish up around 9:00 p.m. or 9:30 p.m.

Even if you do not tie or are new to tying, please come out and join us! We will teach you what you need to know and share our materials with you! If you do not have a vice, please let Glen Zeeck know by calling him at (908) 752-7065 and tell him that you are coming so that one of us can bring an extra vice for you to tie on!
