Chapter Trips

The chapter wishes to organize fishing trips for our members. Trips can be a good old fashioned get together on a river or a guided excursion. The trips can increase involvement from our membership and attract new members at the same time.

This is a great opportunity for the experienced fly fisher to pass on their abundant knowledge to beginners and inexperienced fly fishers. The object is to increase activity within the chapter.

A lot of ideas are being floated around on how to garner interest. To start we need the following:
  • Trip Organizers
  • Places to fish
Please check back frequently as this idea develops.

Ausable River Trip June 9th-10th 2017

posted May 1, 2017, 11:39 AM by Mike Balogh

Two nights and three days on the fabled Ausable River in Jay, NY!

We have 2 wonderful cabins available, first come first serve. There will be a group dinner on Saturday night as always!
This is the same location we have been enjoying for years, the fishing was the best last year that we have had in recent history! Come join in the fun and scenic beauty of the Adirondacks. We WILL have live music at the band stand.
